Every number here comes from City of Vancouver open data. When someone applies for a building permit they must declare what the work will cost, and the city publishes it. That is a different thing from a quote, and worth being precise about: a declared value is what the applicant told the city, usually before the final invoice exists. It is the closest honest answer available, and it is not marketing.
